So I haven't been reading on the enneagram as much I would have liked. I did find a couple of books that have been recommended by individuals that I trust.  The one I want to start with is called "The road back to you; An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery" by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile.

But, I have listened to some podcasts and re-read some of the info that I currently have, and I still am excited to continue down this journey.

Ok...Last Test...This was was the best one....

Here it is the results from my last Enneagram Test, which I also liked the best. Very well formatted and visually appealing.

So I am a 2 for sure, but it looks like I was really close to being a 7 based on this test. How it describes a 2 fits to how I am at times. Now I won't believe I will be this always and forever, but for the now, understanding how I think and process things is great to know.

Second Test Done...

Ok, here are the results of the 2nd Enneagram Test I took....

This test didn't give me a wing, but still consistent with Type 2.

I think I will try one more test to see if it varies at all....but I am noticing in the tests similar questions....

First Enneagram Test Done

Took a free Enneagram Test and here are my results:

It looks like based off this first test I am a Type 2 for sure with a 3 wing. From what I have been reading Type 2 is Giver.....I think....and the 3 is a Performer....

Going to take another test to see if I get similar results.

10 years!?

Ok, so I am not a writer, but I do like to share my thoughts on what I am encountering in my day to day. And today I decided to explore the world of the Enneagram! Why, well I have been hearing a lot about the Enneagram on podcasts that I listen to on the regular and thought that I want to gain a better understanding of what it is all about.

Now I have done many personality type quizzes and tests, most recently at my workplace we did the In-Color:insight test, which I was in 100% agreement with the results. It has been great to understand my behaviors, what I expect from others, and knowing what I need to get re-energized again.

So here I am reading a Enneagram book, trying to learn about these 9 personality types. And I thought well, 10 years has been long enough might as well share this journey with whoever will read this....

Wish me luck.

time well spent

So I am now working over in Squim. I started my new position this last monday, and have my first full day tomorrow. It is surreal to think that I will not have to go back to the island. I have spent the last 17+ year on that island, and don't know anything else. Everyday is a mind bend.

But the last 3 day have been awesome. I just got back from our Northwest Foursquare District conference, and I was filled up! I have heard other pastors tell me that these conferences are boring, and that they just showboat and prance their "new guys" around...but it was anything but that for me and Erin.

We were totally touch by the holy spirit, with encouragement and confirmation. And we also saw some things in our own ministry and lives that we can and will do better on. It seems that what you get out of things of this nature, will be only at least equal to what expectations you bring to it. Meaning, if I don't expect to learn anything and be edified through these awesome speakers, then it would be a great waste of time.

Also, I was blessed to be able to see many of my friends and counterparts in ministry. It was so great to be able to share some life with them, as little time we did have. Never forget how important it is to stay connected with others. A simple truth that we can see in the life of Jesus Christ.

Back in a swing...of things...

Ok..more than a week now I was in Seattle roaming the streets, living a single bachlor lifestyle. And was totally misreable. I am home now, in Port Townsend, and really starting to settle in. Don't get me wrong, it still feels new, but more and more like home.

I have continued my commuting regiment to Coupeville, on bike, the nice thing is though I have recieved a upgrade. Yes, I was given a really nice road/mountain back for free! And it is great, I will post pics soon. Just a few accessories and it will be awesome commuting/road bike.
